I am concerned about the social reaction.  Can you pin down a million bay area teenagers for a month? I think social discipline will break down.    I hope not and I hope something more interesting will emerge. I sense that our social knowledge has biased toward the technocratic and a feel for how people actually live and react is has wekened, so it is not a part of the “calculus” of planning for crises.
