David Brooks article is quite good,  but still thin. Thin because while it is right about the dissatisfaction  of the Tr ump voters, he presents  no view of why the country is in this trouble. Capitalist dynamics always concentrate wealth and it is the duty of politics to push back. But it did not (to be expected, according to most historical examples.)
