I  am concerned that the anticipation of the chaos caused by Trump’s leaving office voluntarily or involuntarily deeply scares a lot of people including Republicans and Democrats, especially in the Congress,  in halls of power, and finance. It might be that this would cause them to coalesce as a group to keep Trump in place in order to continue things more or less as thry are which they anticipate would fall victim to the chaos following Trump’s  removal from office. Pence, civil strife, financial markets, military mistskes on all sides. this srgument, while unattractive, is plausible. lets hope that serious planning for a good outcome to Trump leaving office early  can defeat this logic. But  I have to worry that there is no such planning.
