1897. social momentum and social glue – why we can’t deal with climate

Each person spends most if each day improving their circumstances. They look, bob, weave, connect this and leave that. The whole of humanity is made up from these local acts. Each person sees the world, close or far, from the perspective of their own lifelong achievement, their life, their art. They are up for, interested, in change, but it has to be from the perspective of the world they have built over a life time.

Change is really hard. Change for climate while dealing with increasing population clashing with climate in an unequal economy moving rapidly toward automation in a financial system that pushes money up hill. So we have to be very creative.
