Capitalism builds an extended person who does not need to follow rules of civility. The person with capital is an extension of the idea of property, originally from proper, what is proper to a person of rank to show their status (and jf you wore the wrong clothes, of another caste, death in early societies.). The person with capital has a larger persona (based on both their own self perception and the way they sre perceived by others. We all know the language of “swelled”. The aura is bigger.

But mostly their capital can abuse others in ways they would not do themselves.

How can we get out of this?
