According to Karl Marx the progression of history was through three stages: first,feudalism; then, capitalism; and, finally, its overthrow to form the ideal socialist state.

The digitlal world infrastructure is now considered the next phase. We can see this as a new scenario ending,  from

feudalism, capitalism, socialism

to

(hunter gathers), feudalism, capitalism digitalsm..
This helps understand some of our modern tensions because the digital is seeming to move closer to the authoritarian and unequal as the dream of socialism (too bureaucratic for moderns) recedes.

Digitalism as the governing infrastructure of society. Lets call it what it is.

And given that, what should be our politics?
